FAQ's


  1. How long does it take to process and ship my order?
    Your order should be processed in 24 to 48 hours beginning the next business day during the standard business week, Monday through Friday. If you order is received on the weekend, the 24 to 48 hour processing period begins on the next business day following the day your order was placed. Once your order ships you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your shipping information.


  2. When can I expect to receive my order?
    With standard shipping our customers could receive their orders anytime between 3-10 business days following a 24-48 hour processing time as mentioned in FAQ #1. We ask our customers to allow 8-10 business days to take into account cross-country shipping times.

    Our products are shipped from several warehouses across the country and depending on the distance your package has to travel and the item that is ordered, these factors will determine the time frame. When your order ships you will be sent a ship confirmation email to update you on your shipping and tracking information.   3. What is your return policy?

    If your order qualified for free* shipping then you will be credited for the actual amount of the merchandise less shipping cost paid by Gift Warehouse to ship your item.

    All returns must be in new and resalable condition with the exception of defective warrantied merchandise. Returns require a Return Authorization Number (RA). The item must be received within 30 days of the issuance of the RA number. Items without a RA number will be refused.

    *If free shipping is included on any orders then actual shipping costs are incurred are deducted from your return total if a return of the item is needed. For example if an item is purchased for $75.00 with free shipping and a return is needed, the return would be $75.00 less $7.50 (or actual shipping cost) with the total return credit of $67.50.

    Please allow 7-10 days for the credit to be issued and also please keep in mind that we do not charge a restocking fee. We only credit the amount of the merchandise less our cost incurred in shipping the item to you or the amount you were charged for shipping (whichever is greater). (If you received free shipping with your order the free shipping is only free when the order is completed and over the limit specified. If your return brings your total under this limit then the shipping is charged at our actual shipping cost to you).


  4. What is your "RUSH SHIPPING" policy and how does it work?
    We offer rush 3 - 4 Business Day shipping. Rush Shipping charge is $20.99 plus $1 for each pound. These charges are minimum guidelines and in rare cases may not cover the expense of rush delivery and in this case you will be notified by email and informed of any extra charge. Rush shipping is not available for areas outside of the USA.

  5. I want to order an item but it does not have a "add to cart" or "buy" button. How can I order this item?
    Should you find a "add to cart" button is not present on the product page this indicates that the item is currently unavailable. Please check back often or contact us for future availability.


  6. How does your Christmas shipping work?

  7. Our Christmas shipping policy is as follows. We offer:
    • Standard Shipping (December 11th Cut-Off for Standard Christmas Delivery) Please note after December 11th we cannot guarantee delivery by Christmas however we will ship as soon as possible and your order may arrive in time.

    • Christmas Rush Only Orders less than $60.00 add $21.99 charge (Available December 11th through December 18th) This is a great method to help assure Christmas delivery. This method is a “arrive by Christmas day” option and temporarily replaces our normal 3-4 business days rush service. This is a minimum charge and if your actual shipping charge is more than this minimum you will be contacted.
      Please note not all items are available for rush and you will be notified if an item cannot be rush shipped.

    • Christmas Rush Only Orders more than $60.00 add 32% of total sale (Available December 11th through December 18th) This is a great method to help assure Christmas delivery. This method is a “arrive by Christmas day” option and temporarily replaces our normal 3-4 business days rush service. This is a minimum charge and if your actual shipping charge is more than this minimum you will be contacted.
      Please note most but not all items are available for rush and you will be notified in the unlikely event an item cannot be rush shipped.
      One final note: The majority of orders placed between December 21 through January 2nd will be processed and shipped the week of January 2nd.




  8. Can my package be gift-wrapped?
    We are unable to offer gift-wrapping to our customers at this time. However, many of our items come in gift boxes. This information should be indicated in the specific description of each individual item.


  9. Does Gift Warehouse ship internationally?
    Great News! Gift Warehouse.com has partnered with a trusted third-party company, iShopUSA to fulfill orders for our international customers. Simply put any items you wish to purchase in your shopping cart and click on the "iShop USA" Logo. Just copy and paste your selected items from our shopping cart into the iShopUSA cart. You may pay with international credit cards, PayPal and bank wire transfers. iShopUSA will process your payment and guarantee delivery. Once your order is completed, all inquiries should be directed to iShopUSA International Orders Customer Service. Shipping is quick and usually arrives within 12-14 days.

    If you prefer to checkout with our shopping cart please note Gift Warehouse only ships to a select group of countries outside of the USA as indicated on the order page. Orders placed in our shopping cart outside of the USA will receive an email stating the shipping cost for customers approval. Please allow 3-4 weeks or longer for international orders.


  10. Why wasn't a packing slip included with my order?
    The majority of our products will be shipped with a packing slip included in with the shipment. A few of our shipping locations are not equipped to include a packing slip with the order, however, we encourage our customers to print out a copy of their order at the time the order is placed to insure that they will have all pertinent information if they need to contact us with questions or concerns about their order.


  11. Do you have gift certificates available?
    Gift Certificates may be purchased through http://www.giftwarehouse.com/gifwaregcer.html. Gift certificates are a great way to present a last minutes gift to someone. They can be emailed immediately to anyone; anywhere that has an email address.


  12. What forms of payment do you accept?
    We accept all major credit cards, money orders and personal checks. If a personal check is used for payment, there will be a 5-business day delay after receipt of the check before the order is processed.


  13. How do I find out the status of my order?

  14. Can I include a personal note with my shipment?
    We make every effort to include personal messages with gifts ordered.


  15. How do I know if the item I ordered is in stock?
    We do our very best to keep a current inventory status of our over 7000 products at any given time, however, there is a margin of variance. Within the 24 to 48 hour processing time if we find that your item is backordered or out of stock we will notify you by email. If you have indicated rush order we will email you of the "out-of-stock" status as soon as possible.


  16. How important is the billing information when I am using a credit card for payment?
    Very Important. Our policy is to verify that every billing address presented for payment of an order is an exact match with the address on file with your credit card company. If the billing address and does not match with the address on file with your credit card company you will be notified within 24 to 48 hours of placing your order. This occurrence delays the processing of your order as we are not able to continue processing your order until the correct credit card billing address is provided.
    This policy is designed to stop fraudulent orders from being placed by someone other than an authorized user of your credit card. The majority of times that we have to contact a customer about a non- matching credit card address is when our customer does not indicate a separate billing address on their order.


  17. Can I ship to a different address than the billing address of my credit card?
    Any order can be sent to a different address than your own as long as the billing address is an exact match with the credit card provided.




  18. How can I receive a Gift Warehouse catalog?
    Gift Warehouse offers two major catalogs at this time, "World of Products" and "Vista". They are both for sale on our website under the heading "View Our Catalogs." The catalog prices are stated with each individual catalog are as follows:

    The prices charged are designed to "share" the cost of the catalogs and shipping with our customers. NOTE: There is a "code" used only when ordering catalogs which defers normal shipping charges added to an item under $75. The $1.99 and $3.99 individual costs of our two catalogs include the shipping charge.


  20. Can items be shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, P.O. Boxes, APO or US Territory addresses?

  21. We ship to P.O. Boxes under our standard shipping policy and if extra charges are needed to cover any higher cost you will be notified. We also ship to APO (military addresses) and HI, AK and US Territores. Please find on the order page the appropriate charges for these shipping methods.


  22. Does Gift Warehouse do engraving on "engravable" items?
    We do not offer individual engraving on items. Any item indicating "engravable" informs our customers know that the product has an engravable surface and space for engraving and can be taken to a local engraver for personalization.


  23. Does Gift Warehouse offer imprinting of company logos on items?
    We do have items that are available to be imprinted with a company logo. There is a minimal set-up fee regardless of the number of items being imprinted. A 10-day turn-around time is required after customer approves all proofs of imprinted material. Imprinting is handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Gift Warehouse Customer Service for details and quotations.


  24. Can I place an order over the phone?
    For our customers who are uneasy about placing orders over the Internet, we will be happy to take orders by phone. The most efficient way to place your order is on our secure website. This gives our customers the option of printing out a copy of the order and checking the status of your order at any time. This also allows us the advantage of automatic order confirmation and automatic auto status updates presented to our customers through the indicated email address, which helps us to more efficiently serve our customers.


  25. Can I use my gift certificate at the GW Stores?
    No, we are sorry but the GW stores have different shipping and handling policies then Gift Warehouse.com however you can shop from our selection of over 7000 great gifts.


  26. Once placed may I cancel my order?
    We apologize but due to our processing orders quickly, once placed we cannot cancel a order. You would need to handle as a return using our easy return procedures.


  27. Do you offer wholesale opportunities?
